Urban Wildscapes, edited by Anna Jorgensen and Richard Keenan, the writings are about urban 'wilderness' landscape, complexes of spontaneous 'ruderal' vegetation that becomes widely distributed without relying on human intervention, such as unused allotments, river corridors and brownfield sites. However, the use of ruderals for landscaping purposes in urban green spaces has been extremely ignored. Maybe it is a new start to rethink how to recreate and conserve these abandoned lands.
